Christmas in July this weekend at Cafe Patina.
Cafe Patina is holding our very first Christmas in July and we are all so looking forward to this.
We only have a few tables available to be booked.
A wonderful 6 course menu by Stewart.
Our first course is a honey mead which will warm you up from your fingers to your toes. Then we move onto a shellfish bisque with cognac cream. Shellfish bisque is such an art and I have to say that Stewart is master with this dish. Seared scallops with polenta crusted braised pork cheeks and mushroom, truffle. Next is duck confit and chestnut pithivier with chive and black pepper veloute. The last of the savoury dishes is the roasted venison loin with cherries, chocolate and fondant potatoes. Our dessert that Nikki has been perfecting is baked alaska with brandy custard. This is not your standard baked alaska and I know you are going to love the twist.
See you all on friday and saturday.
